Chinese enterprises sought opportunities to expand their overseas market share at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, U.S., which concluded on Sunday.

The world's premier tech show attracted hundreds of Chinese companies, including well-known brands like Hisense, Lenovo, and TCL, many of which emphasized innovation as a key factor in their global strategies.

Hisense launched its new ULED and Laser TV product lines at CES 2023, offering more mini LED and laser cinema options. The company also unveiled new appliances and demonstrated how smart kitchen solutions could make life easier and more convenient.

"CES is a great platform for us to show our leading products, learn the latest trends in the industry and have exchanges with our counterparts," Fisher Yu, executive vice president of Hisense Group, told Xinhua.

He said Hisense would continue to boost investment in research and development, and improve its analysis of user and consumer behavior in different overseas markets in order to create more innovative products.

TCL, a major player in the global TV industry, also unveiled new innovative TVs, sound bar models, and home appliances at the show, including its ultra-slim 8K mini LED TV. Its smart wearable products, such as augmented reality and virtual reality glasses, also garnered significant attention from visitors.

"TCL smart screens rank second in the highly competitive U.S. sales market. TCL hopes to take the opportunity of CES to show our smart technology and innovative products to the whole world," Mark Zhang, general manager of North America Business Group, TCL Industries, told Xinhua.

Hame Technology, based in Shenzhen, was also seeking opportunities at CES. As a regular attendee of the event, the company began promoting outdoor portable mobile devices with energy storage capabilities at this year's show.

Liu Qujun, the company's key account manager, noted their success in mobile power and their identification of energy storage as a new area for expanding overseas market share.

"Chinese enterprises are now eager to expand globally," Shi Yonghong, vice president of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.

Shi added that over the past three years, global trade in Chinese mechanical and electrical products has steadily increased despite the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to stable production and supply chains.
