Located in Lingshui Li Autonomous County, south China's Hainan Province, Xincun Port is a natural harbor for the Tanka people who have lived there for generations. The boat-dwelling Tanka people are known as "sea nomads." Generations of villagers make their living by fishing and traveling between the sea and shore to get fresh water and vegetables. With the arrival of the Chinese New Year, a clear blue sky, swaying waves and hundreds of fishing boats dotted the sea constituting a mesmerizing landscape.
