A Chinese girl made bunny-shaped Huabobo steamed buns to welcome the incoming Chinese zodiac Year of the Rabbit.
Huabobo, literally flour flower and referring to flower-shaped steamed buns, is a unique traditional food on special occasions, such as sacrificial rituals, celebrations and traditional festivals, and weddings and birthdays, in the Jiaodong area of eastern Shandong Province. It was listed as a Shandong provincial intangible cultural heritage in 2009.
