The Peruvian Attorney General's Office announced via Twitter on Tuesday that it has opened a prosecutorial investigation file on President Dina Boluarte and Prime Minister Alberto Otarola, as well as the ministers of defense and the interior, accusing them of genocide, homicide and serious injury, in relation to the recent events in the southern Puno region.
