True China: Syrian artist says China put lives above everything else over past three years
After battling COVID-19 for three years, China downgraded the management of the disease from Class A to Class B on January 8. Cities across China have gradually optimized preventive measures and resumed work and production.
Zaynab Ali, an artist from Syria, has been in China for more than seven years and lives in Nanjing. Ali said she is amazed by the effort and fast response of the nation's COVID-19 control measures. In this video, Ali seeks to show the real picture of her life as a foreigner in China.
"I want to show you something you don't see in the Western media," Ali said.
