China has recently taken steps to optimize its COVID-19 prevention and control measures, which has generated optimism about its growth prospects. Moreover, the country's economic upswing is also boosting the global economy. In this special program, CGTN's Lily Lyu will talk to four senior fellows from Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China: John Ross, former director of the Department of Economic and Business Policy in London; Peter Koenig, former senior economist of the World Bank; Jean-Guy Carrier, former secretary-general at the International Chamber of Commerce; and He Weiwen, former economic and commercial counselor at Chinese Consulates General in San Francisco and New York, for their insights on how China's optimized COVID-19 policies are helping the global economy's recovery.
