Diagnosis and treatment are much more convenient with tiered medical services. There are 110 community hospitals in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, covering the entire city, and relieving the pressure of city-level hospitals.
Nationwide, family doctor services in China are expected to expand to cover at least 75 percent of its population by 2035.
