Chinese cities are intensifying efforts to vaccinate elderly residents as the Chinese New Year will see billions of people traveling across the country, bringing a higher risk of exposure to the COVID-19.
To improve the services, many community health centers offer door-to-door vaccinations to elderly people with reduced mobility. Some have also prepared necessary medicines, including febrifuge and cough medicines.
CGTN visited some community health centers in Baoji City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province to learn more about their work.
