The high-speed railway linking the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong resumed operation on January 15. Passenger services resumed operation in the section linking Shenzhen's Futian and West Kowloon in Hong Kong. The resumption of the greater Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed rail services comes a week after the checkpoints between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong reopened on January 8.
