China's Fuxing high-speed train will start its service in northmost China's Heilongjiang Province for the first time during Spring Festival holidays.
It is the location at the highest latitude under the most frigid weather where the train can serve by far, which marks the homegrown trains' capability for a wide range of weather.
The train, CR400BF-GZ type, is built with intelligent technology and the maximum speed capacity. Compared with the standard Fuxing train, this type is more resistant to low temperature as well as ice and snow with special designs. It can be well functioned under the weather with temperature of minus 40 degrees Celcius.
It is also equipped with smart technology for passenger service, operation and safety monitoring.
There are two sets of trains have been put into operation after a series of tests for the growing demand during Spring Festival travel rush.
