The death toll from a devastating missile strike on the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro rose to 40 on Monday, as more bodies were pulled from the rubble.
Emergency services specified that three children were among the dead, and that 29 people are still unaccounted for.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied responsibility on Monday, telling reporters that "the Russian armed forces do not strike residential buildings or social infrastructure. They strike military targets."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared on Monday that the Dnipro attack "requires new decisions in defense supply."
