At least one person was killed and 16 others injured after an oil tanker exploded at around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday in central Thailand's Samut Songkhram province, local media reported.
The tanker was docked at a shipyard on the Mae Klong River in Muang district and undergoing maintenance when the explosion occurred and caused a fire.
The oil tanker had moored at the dockyard on January 12 after unloading all of its oil.
The blaze is now under control, local media said.
