Shanghai's commercial property sector suffered in 2022 as a result of COVID-19 outbreaks and their subsequent restrictions. But the country's financial hub is finally seeing an upturn, with at least 20 new commercial projects expected to open in 2023, up from only 10 last year. CGTN visited a new mall in Shanghai’s iconic landmark Xintiandi to find out how retail property has been recovering.
