China's State Council Information Office held a press conference on Wednesday morning to assess the performance of agriculture and rural economy in 2022. Officials said China's agricultural sector and rural economy withstood multiple challenges. The overall planting area reached around 2 billion hectares, and grain production increased by around 3.5 billion kilograms.
