World economists and politicians coming to Davos for the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) have high hopes of robust growth in the Chinese economy in 2023 to inject more momentum into global recovery.

The annual meeting kicked off on Monday and will run until Friday, with over 2,700 leaders from 130 countries and regions attending, including 50 heads of state and government.
