Ukraine's top general said he outlined the "urgent needs" of his armed forces on Tuesday in Poland during his first personal meeting with the Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley.
"I outlined the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the fulfillment of which will accelerate our victory," General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi wrote in a statement on Telegram.
In his statement, Zaluzhnyi said he thanked Milley for "the unwavering support and assistance provided by the United States of America and allies to Ukraine."
