Britain plans to send 600 Brimstone missiles to Ukraine to support the country in its fight against Russia, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said on Thursday as Kyiv presses the West for more weapons.

He outlined a previously announced package of military support for Ukraine, including sending Challenger tanks, and gave further details on the types of missiles Britain would supply.

Wallace was meeting with other defense ministers at the Tapa army base in Estonia as more countries voiced support for Ukraine.

Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said the country will send arms worth 113 million euros ($122 million) to Ukraine, while Sweden said it would supply its modern long-range Archer artillery units.

Meanwhile, President of the European Council Charles Michel traveled to Kyiv and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a show of support.

The Kremlin has warned of escalating the conflict to a "whole new level," if the West answers Ukraine's latest calls.
