As a major project of China's Belt and Road Initiative, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has been criticized following delays, while doubts have been raised about its real benefits to the Pakistanis. In this interview with CGTN's Wang Guan, Muhammad Furqan Rao, head of the China Desk of Pakistan's Associated Press, says Pakistanis remain optimistic and happy about the project and that China's reopening will speed up operations.
