How effective are different types of vaccines? What are the differences between intramuscular injection and nasal use vaccines? Dr. Shao Yiming, member of the Vaccine Task Force of China's State Council Joint Prevention & Control Mechanism, says a total of 12 COVID-19 vaccines are available in China, including nasal-use ones, which experts expect to have stronger protection against infection than an intramuscular injection.
