China has vowed to "unswervingly" support the private sector and private enterprises are set to help bolster high-quality growth in the country. China has already taken various measures to promote the private economy, including tax and fee cuts, expanding market access, streamlining approval and licensing procedures, as well as better financing.

How to further unleash the potential of the private sector? What policies are needed to help the private economy expand and continue to lead innovations in China? To answer these questions, join CGTN's Guan Xin with Liang Hong, chair of Institutional Business Committee of Huatai Securities, Michael R. Powers, Zurich Insurance Group chair professor at School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, and Wang Xiaoyong, standing chairman of the China-Africa Business Council. We also have a special guest, 2006 Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics, Professor Edmund Phelps, who will give a speech for us themed on enterprises and innovation.
