And taikonauts on board China's newly completed space station have sent season's greetings for Chinese New Year, with some celestial treats for the eye. Sun Ye reports.

"Welcome aboard China's Space Station from the Shenzhou 15 crew! We saw our dreams come true last year when we arrived here on November 29.

"That day, we also brought our young friends' dreams up to the 'heavenly palace.'

"The second edition of the 'Tiangong Exhibition' kicks off today! It's our New Year gift to you."

Forty paintings made it to the space station, chosen from over 3,000 entries across China.

The trio explained how they've been impressed by the creative works, from aspiring artists, the youngest only five years old.

They include intricate red paper-cutting, panda bear drawings, Paintings of Chinese folk customs from their local areas.

And so many memorable moments in recent years put to paper: from the Winter Olympic Games, to of course, milestone moments in the Space Station build-up, of rocket launches, spacewalks and the space station orbiting Mother Earth.

These taikonauts say they hope to create new milestones, and work towards ever-increasing goals, in an exploration of space that will never end. SY, CGTN, BJ.
