Southwest China's Yunnan Province is known as the "Kingdom of Plants" because many beloved garden plants and flowers originate from the region.

Plant-loving photographer Liang Si takes a trip to Yunnan and is obsessed with the florae there. She first visits Dulong River Valley where there is a lush rainforest, and she notices many residents have their own gardens even though they already live in nature's garden.

So why are human beings so obsessed with gardens?

Drawn by this question, Liang Si meet floral designers Sammi and Tian Feng, who built a special indoor "mini-rainforest" at their house in Yunnan's Dali City after they had visited Dulong River Valley a few years ago. Can Liang Si find out the answer? Watch this episode to learn more!

About 'Oh! My Greens'

What is a garden? It is a utopia that carries our dreams for a better life. It is an art that reflects our understanding of beauty. It restores our connection with the land. But is that all? In this series, Liang Si, a photographer who fell in love with plants, visits 100 people living with plants to explore why people garden, how to garden and the stories behind gardens.
