At least eight passengers were killed and 15 others seriously injured when a vehicle plunged from a high mountain in Mikhlaf Jaar in Wusab Al Ali District, west of Yemen's Dhamar Province, on Saturday, local media reported.

The driver of the vehicle was transporting 34 students to school while he was on his way to work when the disaster occurred, the Yemen Press Agency reported citing a source.
