New Zealand's ruling Labour Party has selected Chris Hipkins to replace Jacinda Ardern as its leader and the 41st prime minister of the country. Chris Hipkins will be officially sworn in as Prime Minister this coming Wednesday, just six days after Jacinda Ardern's shock resignation.
