The three taikonauts aboard the China Space Station are enjoying the same festive customs and atmosphere as their fellow Chinese on Earth are celebrating the week-long Chinese New Year holiday, or Spring Festival, which started on January 21 this year.
The Shenzhou-15 taikonauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu decorated the orbiting space station, about 400 km above Earth, with traditional Chinese knots and red couplets which were jointly created by the crew on the Chinese New Year's Eve.
