The Zhengzhou East Railway Station is one of the largest high-speed railway stations in China. It's estimated that the station will transport 3.37 million passengers during the Spring Festival travel rush. On January 18, Chinese President Xi Jinping conveyed greetings to officials and workers via video link. Xi said transporting passengers during the Spring Festival holiday greatly concerns people's immediate interests, economic development and social stability. Yang Zhen, a high-speed train driver from the Zhengzhou section, who participated in the video talk, said the president's words were inspiring.
