Drug stores have prepared enough medicines and other medical equipment to cope with possible COVID-19 infections caused by the travel rush during the Spring Festival holidays.
Tian Yulong, spokesperson of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said the total supply of ibuprofen and acetaminophen had reached 5.14 billion tablets as of January 17 and can meet the drug demand.
Meanwhile, the daily output of ventilators increased by 239 percent compared to before January, and the daily output of oximeters exceeded 460,000.
