CELAC summit: Regional leaders meet in Argentina to bolster 'unity in diversity'

The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, also known as CELAC, is an intergovernmental mechanism for dialogue. Leaders were gathering in Buenos Aires for the 7th CELAC. They were expected to discuss the topics regarding regional development. The bloc consists of 33 countries. Over the past few years, the region's economy has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and high inflation.
