Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari recently inaugurated the first phase of a groundbreaking infrastructure project in Lagos, Nigeria - the Lagos Mass Transit Blue Line. The 13-kilometer line is part of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation's (CCECC) ambitious Lagos Rail Mass Transit project that will span 27 kilometers when completed and feature five new stations. An estimated 300,000 passengers per day can now take advantage of convenient public transportation with designed speeds up to 100 km/h at this economic hub home to 20 million people.
