According to the latest data issued by China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 90.5 percent of the Chinese population have been fully vaccinated. 

"China's COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on January 13 in Beijing. "China always puts vaccine safety first. Chinese-made vaccines have a good safety record with a low overall adverse event rate."
