Yangshuo County in southern China has the country's largest kumquat plantation. Farmers there are making double profits compared to last year despite the fruit's production being reduced by 30 percent due to drought. A tourist resort area, Yangshuo County tries to make the kumquat another tourist attraction by offering "kumquat banquets."
