Explosions were heard in Ukraine's Kyiv, as well as Vinnytsia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, UNIAN reported on Thursday.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko said: "Explosion in Kyiv! Stay in shelters!"
Meanwhile, Sergiy Popko, the head of Kyiv's military administration, said it had shot down more than 15 cruise missiles launched toward Kyiv.
The Russian side has not commented so far.
