Adverse conditions, including high inflation and the resurgence of COVID-19, have cast a shadow on the outlook of the global economy this year. On January 10, the World Bank predicted the global economy to grow by 1.7 percent in 2023, revising down forecasts for 95 percent of advanced economies.
