Resilient China bodes well for global economic recovery

Three years into the pandemic, China has had an average yearly economic growth of about 4.5 percent, significantly higher than the world average. Einar Tangen, a senior fellow at the Taihe Institute, said though China's economy is under pressure, it is moving forward steadily. And Edward Tse, founder and CEO of Gao Feng Advisory Company, said that even amid the pandemic, foreign funds kept flowing into Chinese markets. As the world's second largest economy, China has been an important engine of world economic growth.
