Jasem Al-Budaiwi was appointed as the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) on Sunday, the Peninsula Qatar has reported.
Jasem Al-Budaiwi, the current ambassador of Kuwait to the United States, is expected to take the position on February 1.
