Located over the Ganjiang River, Bayi Bridge is one of the major bridges in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. In 1995, Jiangxi Provincial Government built the bridge to replace an old bridge called "Zhongzheng Bridge". Opened to traffic in 1997, Bayi Bridge is about 6 kilometers long with four lanes in both directions. It is the first cable-stayed bridge in Jiangxi Province and the longest cable-stayed bridge in Nanchang. With a constant flow of vehicles coming and going from south to north on the bridge, Bayi Bridge has become beautiful scenery in Nanchang City.
