Sea-rail transportation has become a main player to ship Chinese goods to international buyers in a timely manner, especially at a time when domestic exporters have received robust overseas orders.
At a fruit and vegetable canning enterprise in Caoxian County under the jurisdiction of Heze City, five production lines are operating at full capacity. For this order, the company has rented 18 empty containers from Huangdao Port, 600 kilometers away. To save time, the empty containers are directly grabbed from the train to the trailers and are delivered to the loading area of the enterprise. The loaded containers are then transferred to the train, heading to Huangdao Port to be transported overseas.
