China's cellular IoT connections account for 70% of world's total

The number of digital connections for the cellular Internet of Things (IoT) in China had reached 1.845 billion by the end of 2022, a net increase of 447 million over the end of 2021, accounting for 70 percent of the world's total, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
