Sichuan Opera is one of China's oldest and most popular opera forms. Going back some three hundred years, it has been most popular in the southwestern part of China, such as Sichuan and Chongqing. The opera features solo singing, strong acting, rich percussion and funny comedies. The art form is also famous for its many tricks and stunts, like face changing and fire breathing.
