Editor's note: January 31, 2020 marked the United Kingdom's official exit from the European Union. But three years on, Britain has yet to reap its anticipated Brexit rewards for its economy. New issues including rising energy prices and an economic downturn have emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic and Ukraine crisis. To better understand what Brexit has brought to the UK, T-House invited six experts to respond to four questions on key topics ranging from the UK's economy to the Northern Ireland Protocol (NIP). We hope that this chat room format can enlighten you.

Three years after Britain's formal divorce from the EU, the Brexit still bites. Even the phrase "Bregret" was coined to describe the sorrow felt after voting to leave the EU. The UK economy has suffered severe damage since Brexit. Its economy is anticipated to have one of the poorest performances among developed nations. Thorny problems such as labor scarcity and high energy prices are unlikely to be resolved soon. Future risks for the UK have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and protracted Ukraine crisis.

From Brexit to Bregret, what has Brexit brought to the UK? T-House surveyed six experts for their opinions on related questions. Here are their responses:
