BizDataDive: IMF raises China's growth forecast to 5.2% in 2023

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday projected the global economy to grow by 2.9 percent in 2023, slowing from an estimated 3.4 percent in 2022, according to the latest World Economic Outlook (WEO) report. The outlook is still up 0.2 percentage points from the previous forecast in October. Growth in China is projected to rise to 5.2 percent in 2023, said the report.
