In mid-December 2022, when COVID-19 broke out across much of China, the healthcare system was under enormous pressure. Many medical workers stuck to their posts, rescued critically ill patients and made great sacrifices for their work. CGTN has a series of mini stories on how doctors at Shenyang Hospital of China Medical University survived the peak period of infection. The episode follows a pregnant pediatrician who stayed in her post and worked up to the birth of her child. Liaoning Radio and Television Group contributed to the film.
