The World Health Organization on Monday said that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to constitute a public health emergency of international concern, its highest form of alert. Acknowledging that the COVID-19 pandemic may be approaching an inflection point, WHO spokesperson Margaret Harris said the WHO designation reflects the COVID-19 situation in the world at large.
