Biden-McCarthy meeting reaches no debt ceiling deal

U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said he had a "very good discussion" with President Joe Biden at the White House on Wednesday over debt ceiling and federal spending, but there were "no agreements" and "no promises," local media reported.
