More than 2,000 flights have been canceled and 1,500 have been delayed as an ice storm continues to strike central U.S.. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning and said travel conditions would continue to be hazardous through February 2. The Dallas-Fort Worth area established a new daily snowfall record of 3.3 centimeters, according to the weather service. Authorities urged commuters to exercise caution when traveling in the Dallas area.
