Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said on Wednesday that he met French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss Kyiv's defense needs.
Reznikov arrived in France on Tuesday for a two-day visit, and tweeted that the conversation was "frank and productive," adding that the urgent operational needs of the Ukrainian army were on the agenda.
In a separate tweet, the minister said he signed a memorandum with French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu and the Thales Group on the supply of MG-200 radars for Ukrainian air defenders. The radars, Reznikov said, will help the Ukrainian military to spot enemy drones and missiles, including ballistic missiles.
