Dutch chipmaker ASML appears to desire collaboration with China and the world, says Zhao Zhirong, dean and chair professor at the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University. He is optimistic and believes that despite the looming U.S.-led chip export control pact with China, the friction could just be "a small hiccup" and these countries will eventually get over it.
