The iconic Sulaymaniyah Hospice in Damascus, Syria is undergoing its first restoration in history to preserve its heritage and make it a tourist destination. Syrian authorities say while the hospice is undergoing repairs, it will remain true to its original form and character, serving as a reminder of its rich history as a center for mystics, museums, mosques, and a hub for heritage handicrafts.
