The construction of China's first large-scale 16-megawatt offshore wind turbine project has begun. The total installed capacity of the wind farm is 400 megawatts, and the annual on-grid power will exceed 1.6 billion kilowatt hours after the project becomes operational in August. In recent years, China's offshore wind power has developed rapidly, with 60 percent of the wind power equipment in the global market coming from China.
