The Chinese central government held a seminar with businesspeople from Taiwan. The head of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Song Tao, and over 50 Taiwan businesspeople attended the event on February 5. Cross-strait ferry routes, which were halted for three years due to COVID-19, partially resumed before the Chinese New Year.
